The Model (Sligo) seeks an artist from any arts discipline (especially film, animation, visual art and performance) to facilitate a series of 6 evening workshops from mid-October, 2017 for children (7 – 11 years) in Sligo. The artist should have significant experience in delivering high quality arts experiences for children and young people. This project is delivered in collaboration with Cranmore Community Cooperative. The total fee is €600 (& materials budger). This programme is funded by International Fund for Ireland.

The Model seeks an artists from any arts discipline to facilitate a unique educational experience in 7 primary schools across the county as part of the Punc 1×1 Niland Collection Outreach Schools programme 2017/2018.

The artist should have significant experience in delivering high quality arts experiences for children and young people and be interested in working collaboratively in schools throughout the county. Punc 1×1 funds 60 hours – 14 hrs development time, 34 hours contact time and 12 hours evaluation, documentation and meetings at a rate of €40/hr. The total fee is €2,400. Art UK is a dynamic arts charity with a national and global reach. The charity’s mission is to open up art in public collections for enjoyment, learning and research. We do this through digitising artworks, telling the stories behind the art and creating exciting opportunities for public interaction with art both online and offline. Art UK Sculpture is a national project using digital and physical engagement to transform the way people access and learn about sculpture. Supported by a National Lottery grant, this highly ambitious initiative will digitise 170,000 sculptures from inside public collections and outdoors in the nation’s parks, streets and squares and display them on the Art UK website.

Art UK is seeking a Coordinator to catalogue sculpture in collections across Northern Ireland during the Delivery Phase of the Art UK Sculpture project.
Coordinator duties include liaising with the specified collections participating in the Art UK Sculpture project in Northern Ireland, communicating the importance of the sculpture project and the work of Art UK to all collections, collecting sculpture data from the participating collections, and organising photography, in liaison with a Photographer and collection staff.

The Coordinator will work from home. This is a part-time temporary post for 2 years; 2 days a week / 0.4 FTE. Salary: £24,000 p.a. (pro rata).

Job Vacancy | Storyboard Revisionist with Brown Bag Films (Contract)

The Storyboard Revisionist will work closely with the Senior Revisionist and or Episodic Director Animation Series. The candidate needs strong storytelling and drawing skills with an understanding of creating dynamic cameras, a good eye for framing shots as well as drawing strong character key poses and expressions on model.

Key Areas of responsibilities:

  • Work with the Senior Revisionist and or Episodic Director
  • You will be revising storyboards for a pre-school TV series/3D CGI production with best use of 3d space and camera
  • Respond efficiently to notes and be able to translate revisions during storyboard review and animatic process
  • Adhere to the quality and style of the show and make sure it is consistently achieved in your drawing
  • Meet all deadlines as determined by the Producer or Production Manager
