Draíocht Blanchardstown seeks a full time Administration Assistant on a Short Term Specified Purpose Contract.

The Administration Assistant is responsible for the smooth running of the Children’ and Youth Arts Programme (Maternity Leave Cover) and for Visual Arts Programme Administration (Sickness Absence Cover). This is a specified purpose contract to cover the maternity leave of the permanent post-holder and the absence due to sickness of a permanent post-holder and is expected to last for approximately 6 months, beginning in early August 2016. Your employment will terminate upon the end of the Specified Purpose i.e. Maternity Leave/Sickness Absence and any subsequent associated leave.

The Administration Assistant must have excellent, communication and interpersonal skills and be comfortable dealing with people at all levels of the social and organisational spectrum, as well as proven experience in a similar role (or complementary environment with clearly transferable skills). The successful candidate will ideally also have a passion for and demonstrated commitment to the arts and experience of working in the theatre/ arts centre environment.

Interviews will be held during the week of 4th July 2016.
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week
Some weekend and evening work will be required.
Salary: €25,350 per annum (pro rata).
Garda Clearance is a requirement for this position.
